Here you can find most relevant definition of the terms related to Global Warming

Greenhouse gases: Chemical compounds found in the earth's atmosphere such as gas used for aerosols. There are another type of gases which occurs naturally, for example water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous dioxide. Those gases stay in earth's atmosphere and absorb the energy that is reflected by the sun to the space, causing the earth's temprature to increase.

Ozone Layer: The area of which the ozone concentration (O3) is present in the atmosphere. The ozone layer is about 10 to 50 kilometers in altitude. The atmosphere layer that has the most concentration of ozone is the stratosphere which is located about 25 kilometers from the ocean's surface. Recently, scientists have found what is called to be "Ozone Hole" which is the thinning of the ozone layer, especially in the South Pole area.

The Ozone Layer protects us from the UV radiation from the sun which can cause skin cancer, sun burning, etc. The thinning of the ozone layer is mostly caused by Global Warming, because the smoke and pollution from the earth can make the ozone layer to become thinner over time.
