The normal temprature of the earth's surface 100 years ago, is about 15C (59F).
Now, it had risen about 0.6C (1F)
Over 100 years from now, scientists predict we will have increase temprature about 1.4C - 5.8C (2.5F - 10.4F). This rapid
increase can melt the polar ice caps and glaciers. Because the ice melts, it can also raise the sea level about 9 - 100 cm
(4in. - 40in.).
There are many bad effects of Global Warming:
- More rainfall in warmer regions.
- Possibly it can drown some coastal islands.
- Soils will dry out.
- Because the soils dry, no plants for food supply can live, may cause hunger.
- Animals that live in warm region might move to polar region to find cooler tempratures.
